Going to Sanxia was quite difficult than I expected. From the museum, I hiked all the way towards Sanying bridge which separates the towns of Yingge and Sanxia. But when I get to the bridge, I found out it’s not walkable for pedestrians so I went back to the bus stop outside Yingge museum, waiting for luck for the correct bus to arrive. Yeliu’s Rocky Alien World

These stone formation have fancy names like “The Fairy Shoe”, “The Bee Hive”, “The Ginger Rocks” and “The Sea Candles”. The most famous formation according to the brochure is the “Queen’s Head” which is shaped like the bust of the Egyptian queen, Nefertiti and this shape has been the town’s logo and iconic landmark. Architectural Wonder in Toucheng

I mentioned in my trip to Jiufen that I boarded the wrong train and arrived in Yilan. The train left the northern coast and veered southward with the Pacific ocean on the side. The train passed by a town with an eccentric looking structure erected near the coast. It looked like a dilapidated fallen building, washed by some rouge tidal waves.
